He’s bad for democracy and government

Trump claimed to have won the 2020 election in a landslide when he in fact lost. Trump demanded a ‘special election’ to reinstate him. Vance says Trump won, too. They will likely do the same in 2024. He’s said he would ‘absolutely’ pardon his January 6 insurrections. Trump and his followers gave election workers a very hard time in 2020 and it will likely be worse in 2024. They will bring the electoral system to its knees, disrupting the vote count in swing states.

Trump was woefully ill-prepared for the transition to presidency (this time Project 2025 is doing it for him, whether he acknowledges it or not), and held up the transition to Joe Biden.

He does not respect presidential debates, insulting and interrupting Joe Biden, trying to intimidate Hillary and Gish-galloping Kamala Harris. He skipped his successor’s inauguration.

The longest government shutdown in U.S. history was over Trump’s wall.

Scarily, Trump ignored intelligence briefings. He demanded loyalty to him, not the constitution. He appointed his…
