Why not vote for Trump? Contd.

He loves dictators, and wants to be one.

Trump claimed in 2019 that Article II of the Constitution gave him the right to “do whatever I want as president”. He didn’t get away with it at the time.

Trump has said he’ll be dictator on day one only, but power is not so easy to give up and he could do a lot of damage only in one day. Essentially all he has to do is say, “Project 2025, make it so”. The Supreme Court has already given him immunity. While president, Trump signed an executive order allowing him to replace federal staff with his own political appointees. Biden reversed it. Trump plans to do it again, and this time his supporters are recruiting an army of partisan hacks to replace them and is identifying who they want to replace. It was thanks to federal workers loyal to the constitution that Trump was not able to do more damage when he was president.
