Trump’s lethal failure to face the COVID pandemic. Part 8: Trump’s unrepentant

I first published a series of articles about Trump’s COVID failures in January 2021. More than three and a half years on, he’s unrepentant and unpunished. These articles are a reminder, before the election in November, that the USA would not be safe in his hands.

My original final article in this series was written when the House had passed an article of impeachment for an insurrection as a result of which 6 people died, and the Senate had voted 55–45 to go ahead and impeach Donald Trump. Yet his actions and inactions concerning the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in far more deaths. We now know he has gone unpunished for both.

In case you missed any of the earlier articles on Trump’s COVID disaster, here they are:

Trump is unrepentant. He recently said, “I say this in terms of overall, I think I did an amazing job with Covid. I never got the credit for it”.

He has gone on to cause America great harm with his ‘big lie’ that the election was stolen. Furthermore he is running to be president again, and preparing the ground to repeat his attempts to steal the election in 2020, only this time with much better organised help — Project 2025, which I have also written about:

I hope that these articles will be useful for when you talk politics with your Trump-supporting friends.
